RAID 2.0. Bigger. Faster. Built for Web3.
40,000+ posts. 300+ creators. Some of Web3’s biggest projects. And we’re just getting started.

The Place Where Web3 Happens

RAID was built around a simple idea: bring the creative energy of Web3 together. Across the ecosystem, incredible art, content and communities are being created every day, but much of it disappears into social feeds, marketplaces and individual platforms. RAID gives that culture a home where talent gets discovered, communities come together and creativity becomes opportunity.

The name RAID comes from gaming, where players team up to take on challenges too big to face alone. That same spirit drives the platform, bringing people together around projects, ideas and challenges to create something bigger.

Where It Started

CreatorDAO launched RAID in December 2022 around a contest engine designed to connect Web3 projects with artists. Projects could launch RAIDs with creative briefs and prize pools while artists created, competed and showcased their work.

RAID quickly became part of the communities surrounding leading Web3 projects including Azuki, Captains, Meebits and KPRVERSE, alongside PEPE and brands such as Mocaverse. Prize pools grew beyond $40,000, with the Azuki Mizuki RAID alone offering $25,000 in prizes. In December 2023, RAID Live took the platform further, letting artists stream their creative process and bringing the community inside the creation of the art itself.

A New Chapter

GKOI discovered RAID firsthand in January 2025 when it hosted its first contest on the platform and immediately saw its potential to bring projects and creative communities together. That experience grew into a partnership, with GKOI and RAID launching RAID Social Popups on X and taking the RAID format directly into the heart of Web3’s social community.

Leading artists shared short tutorials before challenging the community to create, turning social feeds into week-long creative events with hundreds of artists taking part and prize pools reaching $1,000. The success of the Social Popups showed how much further the RAID concept could go and ultimately led to GKOI acquiring RAID in December 2025, opening the door to its next chapter.

Building RAID 2.0

Development of RAID 2.0 began in April 2026 with a complete rebuild from the ground up, preserving the history and content that made RAID what it was. The idea also grew beyond contests: build a true Web3 platform where creators and projects can discover each other, collaborate, create, stream and earn.

RAID 2.0 brings that vision together through Creators, Spaces, RAIDs, Live and Editions. Verified artists, streamers, content creators and gamers can showcase their work and find new opportunities, while curated Spaces give genuine Web3 projects a home. RAIDs connect the two through contests and prize pools, Live opens new opportunities through streaming and Editions bring artists, projects and brands together through curated weekly art drops.

Connected to Web3

RAID is deeply integrated with X because that’s where much of Web3 already lives. Creators and projects can bring X posts directly into their RAID timelines, use them as contest submissions and syndicate RAID Live streams across X and other platforms. Instead of asking people to rebuild their audiences somewhere new, RAID works with the networks and communities they already have.

RAID 2.0 Live will take that connection even further. Verified creators will be able to stream directly through RAID and showcase broadcasts on their profiles, while projects will be able to launch Streaming RAIDs with funded reward pools that pay streamers based on the audiences they reach. Creators will also be able to restream active broadcasts, allowing established streamers to amplify emerging talent and introduce them to new audiences.

Built for the Best of Web3

RAID isn’t another unfiltered Web3 directory. Creators are verified to protect the community from impersonators, fake accounts and stolen content, while Spaces are curated around genuine projects with real communities and real products. We don’t need everything in Web3. We want to showcase the best of it.

With more than 40,000 posts spanning years of art, projects, contests and collaborations, RAID already captures a piece of Web3 history. As it grows, we want it to become a living chronicle of the culture, preserving the people, projects and creativity that shaped Web3 while giving the next generation somewhere to create what comes next.

RAID Returns

In September 2026, RAID 2.0 enters beta, bringing the history of the original RAID into a platform rebuilt for what Web3 has become. The technology is new and the possibilities are bigger, but the idea at its heart remains the same: bring people together to create, collaborate and build something worth being part of.

Projects need great creators and creators need opportunities to build audiences and earn from what they do. The culture that makes Web3 special deserves somewhere it can be discovered, supported and remembered. That’s why RAID is coming back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is RAID?

RAID is a Web3 platform connecting creators and projects through content, contests, streaming and digital art. It gives artists, streamers, content creators and gamers a place to showcase their work, discover opportunities and earn while giving projects new ways to activate creative communities.

Why is it called RAID?

The name comes from gaming, where a raid brings players together to take on a challenge too big to face alone. RAID brings that same idea to Web3, connecting creators and projects around shared challenges, ideas and opportunities.

What is RAID 2.0?

RAID 2.0 is a complete rebuild of the original RAID platform, expanding it beyond art contests into a broader Web3 creator ecosystem. It brings together Creators, Spaces, RAIDs, Live and Editions with deep integration into X and the wider social platforms where Web3 already lives.

Who is RAID for?

RAID is primarily built for creators and Web3 projects. Creators include artists, streamers, content creators and gamers, while Spaces are designed for genuine Web3 projects including NFT collections, games, communities, blockchains, infrastructure companies and other established Web3 brands.

What is a Creator?

Creators are verified RAID members who create original content across art, streaming, gaming and other forms of Web3 media. Creator profiles provide a home to showcase their work, RAID activity, streams and Editions while helping projects discover new talent.

Do Creators need to be verified?

Yes. Creator accounts are verified to help protect the community from impersonation, fraudulent accounts and stolen content. Verification looks for signals such as an authentic X account, real activity and genuine original content.

What are Spaces?

Spaces are dedicated homes for Web3 projects on RAID. They allow projects to showcase their content, community and activity while connecting with creators and launching RAIDs.

Spaces are curated to maintain the quality of the platform. Projects must meet basic guidelines such as having a genuine community and a real product, collection, game or active Web3 ecosystem.

What is a RAID?

A RAID is a contest or challenge launched around a project, community or creative brief. Projects can create RAIDs, fund prize pools and invite creators to participate by producing and submitting original work.

RAIDs can bring hundreds of creators together around a single challenge, giving projects authentic community-created content while giving creators exposure, opportunities and rewards.

What are Streaming RAIDs?

Streaming RAIDs allow projects to fund reward pools specifically for streamers. Verified creators will be able to participate by streaming and promoting participating projects, with rewards linked to the audiences their streams generate.

This creates a direct connection between Web3 projects looking for exposure and streamers looking for opportunities to earn from their content.

What is RAID Live?

RAID Live is RAID’s integrated streaming platform. In RAID 2.0, verified creators will be able to livestream directly through RAID, feature broadcasts on their profiles and syndicate streams across X and other platforms.

Creators will also be able to restream active broadcasts, allowing larger streamers to amplify emerging creators and introduce them to new audiences.

What are Editions?

Editions are curated art drops from RAID creators, projects and Web3 brands. A selected artwork is made available to mint for a specific period at a set price, using ERC-1155 technology to allow multiple collectors to own an edition of the work.

RAID plans to feature new Editions weekly, with many built as collaborations between artists and Web3 projects, blockchains, brands or infrastructure companies.

Can anyone launch an Edition?

Editions are curated rather than an open NFT marketplace. Verified creators and approved projects can participate, with RAID focusing on high-quality artwork and collaborations that represent the creative side of Web3.

How does RAID integrate with X?

RAID is designed to work with X rather than asking Web3 communities to start their social presence again somewhere else. Creators and projects can bring X posts into their RAID timelines and X posts can also be used as submissions for RAIDs.

RAID Live will extend that connection into streaming, allowing broadcasts to be syndicated across X and other platforms while still being showcased within RAID.

Do I need a crypto wallet to use RAID?

Anyone can explore RAID and discover creators, projects and content. A connected wallet becomes part of the experience when participating in Web3-native activities such as verified ownership, RAIDs, rewards and minting Editions.

Is RAID an NFT marketplace?

No. Editions allow selected artwork to be minted and collected, but RAID isn’t designed as another general NFT marketplace. Its focus is connecting creators and projects through culture, collaboration, contests, streaming and new opportunities to earn.

What happened to the original RAID?

The original RAID was launched by CreatorDAO in December 2022 and became home to thousands of posts, creators and contests across Web3. GKOI began working with RAID in 2025 through RAID Social Popups before acquiring the platform in December 2025.

RAID 2.0 is being rebuilt from the ground up while carrying the history and content of the original platform forward.

What happens to the old RAID content?

It’s coming with us. RAID has accumulated more than 40,000 posts spanning years of Web3 art, projects, contests and collaborations, and that history will form part of RAID 2.0.

Over time, we want RAID to become a living chronicle of Web3, documenting the creators, projects and culture shaping the ecosystem.

When does RAID 2.0 launch?

The RAID 2.0 beta is planned for September 2026. The new platform will begin rolling out the next generation of RAID across Creators, Spaces, RAIDs, Live and Editions.

What is the vision for RAID?

To showcase the creativity that makes Web3 special while creating better ways for creators and projects to work and earn together. We want RAID to be where great Web3 culture gets discovered, created, supported and remembered.
